Welcome to Patty Kindig's Bio— If you're reading my Bio, you are either thinking of buying or selling and considering me for your real estate professional. Why me? Let me tell you my background and what's been going on in my real estate career lately. Wow, 2013 has been an amazing year for me selling over $8,000,000.00 this year representing both buyers and sellers and closing over 18 transactions and falling into the top 100 agents in all of Santa Cruz County. It started in 1980 through 1999, when I started working as a paralegal. I worked for several local attorneys becoming completely familiar with all forms of contracts and real estate law. For fun, my husband and I would go to open houses looking for that perfect home and so in 2000, I decided to get my real estate license so we could find that perfect home for us and work around my young children's schedule. In 2000, I started with a small hands-on local real estate company and my business took-off. In 2005 David Lyng Real Estate approached me and asked me to join the company. It was an easy decision as David Lyng is the Number One Company for sales and service. We have the best marketing, advertising, technology, training and education and highly skilled staff support you could ever want in an office. Why have I received all these awards? Because I make my clients happy and they refer their friends and family to me. I am available to my clients 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and normally 7 days a week, because buying or selling a home can be stressful if you don't pick the right agent. You want someone like me who is available, that works hard for you, explains each step of the way, is an impeccable negotiator and knows the contracts and laws with ease. I take the stress off and make it a great experience. I am a full-time agent and 100% committed to my clients and their needs and I love my job. I also have a great team of specialists I work with such as home stagers, professional photographers, web managers, title officers, vendors, engineers, contractors, home inspectors and pest inspectors that are ready and available when needed. When I'm not selling real estate – I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband Chris. Chris was my high school sweetheart and we have been married for over 30 years. We have two wonderful children together, now adults, Blake and Leah. Leah and her husband, Kyle, just had our first grandbaby in 2013, Bryce Cristopher Foraker. We all love spending time at the lake, waterskiing, and wakeboarding. Now that we are empty nesters, we love playing and spoiling our other set of children, Tucker, a Norfolk Terrier, and Maggie, a Norwich Terrier.
